A Festive Fortnight

Well, we've had a fabulous two weeks since our opening and are now well into the festive season (though our regulars will notice we haven't caved in and started playing Christmas tunes just yet..). In fact we're a much needed antidote to the excesses of the season, with real ales, craft beers, gorgeous (cranberry free) British fare and some excellent wines that don't even have a hint of mulling about them.

What we do have is warmth, windows and a welcoming atmosphere. One til DONE roasts on Sundays and a wee mellow shindig for Hogmanay coming up after Christmas.

We've been really good so Santa will hopefully be bringing us a few much needed items over the festive season, including signage, a few building repairs and other bits and pieces! In the meantime, we've been inundated with stickers from some lovely people, including Pubs with Dugs, the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA), PRS and Google... it's all feeling rather official! You can review us and everything!

We'd like to say thanks to all our customers for being so supportive in our opening weeks while The Bakers Arms continues to develop (in quite an organic fashion). We're thoroughly looking forward to the new year which will bring extended opening hours, Brunch, outdoor seating and all sorts of other lovely things!
